Uhh, so I stumbled across this awesome Pokemon meme here [link] and, coupled with this current Pokemon-themed RP that me and my waifu *Arcane-Angel are doing, I think it stands to reason that I would have to fill out this meme with all my favorite Pokemon from a particular type.

And because I am a n00b, I'll give my reasons for selecting said types.

Favorite Bug Type: Leavanny. Praying mantises are one of my favorite insects, and Leavanny is based off of one. It's cute appearance and decent battling skills (I trained one on a temporary run on my friend's borrowed Pokemon Black version) make it one of my favorites of the Bug type Pokemon.

Favorite Dark Type: Darkrai. Dark types can't get more badass than this fellow. Heck, it's very type is right there in it's name.

Favorite Dragon Type: Flygon. I love dragons. And I also love dragonflies. Combine these two and you get Flygon. I had one on my Sapphire team and she kicked ass. A definate win in my book.

Favorite Electric Type: Raichu. We're going old-school with this one. The evolved form of the iconic Pikachu, Raichu have always been my favorite of the Pikachu evolution line. I always had one on my team whenever I played for that particular generation.

Favorite Fighting Type: Blaziken. Fuck yeah, Blaziken! One of my favorite Pokemon of all time! They evolve from cute little Torchic's into these badass Dual-types, so they deserve a definate spot either in the Fire-type or Fighting-type department. But since I had a different Fire-type favorite of mine I went for the Fighting-type slot.

Favorite Fire Type: Charizard. Oh yeah, we're going old-school again. The Charmander line is one of my favorite Starters ever, and even though it had weaknesses against the two first Gyms I almost always started with Charmander. I mean, c'mon! They'll evolve into these badass dragons! Can't get more awesome than that!

Favorite Flying Type: Honchkrow. Oh man, it may be a pain in the ass to capture a wild Murkrow, but since they evolve into these boss-tastic birds then it's so worth the effort. I have one on my Diamond game and she is a beast on the battle field. A definate favorite of mine, hands down.

Favorite Ghost Type: Duskull. Awww, look at that cute little ghostie. With the skull for a face and one glowing red eye. How adorable. Out of it's evolutionary line, Duskull is my favorite Ghost-type.

Favorite Grass Type: Serperior. Aww yeah. Look at that badass fancy snake. He knows he can sweep the floor with you, no problem. With my love for snakes, this guy makes it to the top of my list of favorite Grass-types. <3

Favorite Ground Type: Golurk. This thing looks like a robot. A freakin' robot. I love robots. And not only that, this robot-thing can learn how to fly. How awesome is that?!

Favorite Ice Type: Walrein. It's not very common for me to train an Ice-type, but on my Sapphire game I had this fellow. From a cute little Spheal into an epic ice-walrus. Pure win.

Favorite Normal Type: Lopunny. Yeah yeah, I know. About a kazillion other Pokemon fans out there love this bunny (some for dubious reasons... >3>; ) but aside from that it's one of my favorites because I happen to like rabbits. I have one on my Diamond game that knows the Elemental Punches, thanks to her daddy being a Hitmonchan, so that's awesome.

Favorite Poison Type: Nidoking. This king of the Nidoran family line is one of my all-time favorites. I trained one on an old game and he was so epic and badass...

Favorite Psychic Type: Gardevoir. This one was hard. I couldn't decide between Espeon or Gardevoir for this particular type, but Gardevoir won out in the end. It's graceful and beautiful in appearance, and a strong fighter as well. Plus, if you don't fancy your male Kirlia becoming even more girly-looking, you could always evolve it into a Gallade instead.

Favorite Rock Type: Aerodactyl. Aerodactyl have always been one of my favorites of the fossil Pokemon, and one of my favorite Rock-types. So that's a double bonus. :>

Favorite Steel Type: Aggron. Aggron are pure badassery. Your argument is invalid. (Not to mention their first forms are just so cuuuute! <3)

Favorite Water Type: Vaporeon. Vaporeon have always been one of my favorites of the Eeveelution line prior to Espeon/Umbreon and Leafeon/Glaceon making their appearance. And it continues to hold a strong place in my list of favorite Water-type Pokemon. <3
